People can be heard asking whether now is the right time to be make money online. The Economy has been in decline, people laid off work, with little money to spare, but we are told that the economy is recovering; however, there is always the chance of the double dip, and we can not see into the future.

There are ways to make money online now, and I will share my views on this with you. The time is right, because people do not have money to spare, they are desperate to seek alternative sources of income, to save their houses, and in some cases just to live, and where is the easiest place to access, the internet of course, and this is where you make money.

People in the unfortunate situation of losing their jobs, are looking for information, you can help them by selling them that information, there is no need to scam people, or raise their hopes with false promises, just sell them what they want, and you can both make money.

How can this be done?

By now you will have realised that taking advantage of the economic situation is the right way to go, but how do you go about it? Let me give you a couple of hints:

1. Look for a niche

Because People are looking to earn money, you should look within the scope of Internet Marketing, this in itself is too broad a topic, you have to drill down from there, to a specific subject that is going to appeal, such as Health, Weight Loss, Earn money online, this again is too broad, you need to go further, and if you have a specific topic that you are interested in, so much the better. Check out your niche on Google, and see how much Competition there is, if there is high competition, there is obviously a market for it, low Competition, and you will struggle, as there cannot be much call for the product, or service.

2. Select your Keywords

People will tell you that Traffic Generation is the next most important topic, however without the right Keywords, you will not get any Traffic, so spend some time looking, check out the Competition, and see what Keywords they are using, then Google the keywords using Google Adwords, and see how many searches are done using that Keyword.

3. Traffic Generation

Now you have your niche and keywords, this is the time to go all guns blazing, to draw in the potential Customers, you have to do some work here, before you can sit back, and reap the rewards, you need to create backlinks, write Articles, and promote your site as much as possible. You have to draw people in, by telling them that the product you are promoting, is better than that of the Competition, do not be shy... just go for it, and you will see the results.

There you have it, you have to realise, all those people, who tell you, you can make money overnight, are feathering their own nest at your expense, it may take a couple of months or longer, but if you are persistent, you will succeed.
